Meet Our CEO
Teewa Akers, Enrolled Agent, CFHC International Accountant - Financial Educator - Financial Health Counselor Teewa Akers is the CEO of Accounting Solutions International Inc; a U.S. based accounting firm specializing in accounting and taxation services for mid to large sized companies and organizations. Accounting Solutions International Inc was initially formed in 2005. By this time, Teewa had transitioned from working as an accountant in the public sector to the not-for-profit sector. While pursuing her Bachelor degree, she noticed a void in small business accounting that she felt she could fill. With the accounting knowledge and experience she had obtained, as well as experience educating others, she made her dream a reality and became an entrepreneur. Throughout her professional career, Teewa has managed to gain over 20 years of valuable accounting experience. Her current accounting background includes activities that range from day-to-day financial data analysis to managing accounting processes for international field offices. As a seasoned accountant, Teewa and her team currently manages company budgets ranging from 2 million to approximately 175 million. She has also works as a liaison between the CEO and senior management teams regarding organizational financial goals and targets. In addition to working through the accounting career path and growing her businesses, Teewa still manages to donate her time. She currently holds free accounting workshops quarterly. She also tutors high school and college students in math and accounting.
